One of my favorite things about the wedding and events industry is the sheer personality that shines through in the coalition of decor, fashion, menu, and venue for each occasion. All of these items that take months of planning culminate together in a way that is so perfectly a product of my clients and their story!

Nick and Sarah's wedding day is a prime example of this! I had the pleasure of getting to know the Rodesneys on a personal level before they tied the knot this last March and I can describe this couple and their style as sweet, adventurous, intelligent, goofy, and outdoorsy! This game-loving duo had a stunning backyard wedding set off of the St. John's River in Orange Park, FL - complete with an oversized Jenga set and lawn games, a gorgeous on-the-pier first look, and some seriously scrumptious BBQ!

Sarah wanted her table and aisle decor to be simple and nature-inspired. She chose to use subtle babies' breath in galvanized buckets to line the wedding aisle and we re-purposed it in mason jars on the tables for their reception. To add a more rustic element to the table, Sarah loved the idea of placing wood slices underneath the table lanterns. (Fun side note: Sarah's brother-in-law cut the wood slices for their wedding!)

Sarah opted for a gentle ombre for her bridesmaids dresses - a trend that I am noticing has become really popular in nuptial fashion! All of her ladies looked stunning in soft shades of blue while her flower girls wore white with a champagne bow!

I also want to take a minute to highlight the gorgeous floral arrangements by Park Avenue Florist! Sarah found an inspiration photo for her flowers that stole her heart and they really knocked it out of the park! (For photos and a complete list of vendors from their day, keep scrolling down.)

My favorite part of their decor? The photos of Nick and Sarah and their travels together that were placed around the venue - as well as the large map they used as a guestbook to later hang in their home!

So many well wishes to you both, Nick and Sarah, in your second month of marriage - and many more to come!
